In the decades passed, Family Trucks and Vans evolved from a small lot with one office and a small mechanic shop that occupied a fourth of a block, to a block wide lot, with a large mechanics bay, a details shop and two offices, one of which is the same office that was used in 1976. You can find John Sharp, owner of Family Trucks and Vans, walking the lot, managing his business day in and day out. Among the latest Sharp family accomplishments is the success of their Son's company, "The Sharpest Rides". The Sharpest Rides project was headed up by a third generation Sharp, Kevin Sharp, in 2006. The Sharpest Rides' success has accomplished the family's aspirations to expand their businesses to an online public.

Family Trucks and Vans is a strong supporter of local charities, participating in extensive Youth Coaching and in the Make a Wish Foundation. We have also been a member of the National and Colorado Chapters of the Independent Automobile Dealers Association for 27 years. John Sharp, president of Family Trucks and Vans, has also served as an Officer and Director of the Colorado Chapter of Independent Automobile Dealers Association.
